14/03/2011Sandy & Wayne

It started pouring as we left the National Museum of Singapore, we decided to wait out the rain as the evening approached. The dark clouds loomed over our heads as I paced in and out of the shelter hoping that the rain would stop. In the earlier part of the day, the weather was so fine with fluffy white clouds and cerulean sky. The day started out when Jean and I arrived at the Conrad Hotel, the view from within their suite was simply gorgeous. Sandy, stood in her stunning gown by Silhouette The Atelier as the brilliant Gin Tan was doing her final touches on Sandy’s hair.

Sandy and Wayne are such an adorable couple and I must say that they are really natural in front of the camera. I remember the first time I received Sandy’s call and she exclaimed that I have a new fan and started raving(to me) about my work. It was unfortunate that I was not available to photograph their church ceremony however my associate SK did an excellent job on my behalf (the same day edit of their church wedding slideshow can be found at the bottom of this post.)

More importantly, I believe it was Sandy and Wayne’s kind and optimistic character that eventually stopped the rain. It wasn’t the best sunset we’ve seen but it was a totally different kind of feeling for all of us there at the bridal session.

from the heart,

Bryan

Reflection is kinda my thing.

Isn’t she stunning?

The afternoon sun was brilliant.

It started to rain just when we left.

This was photographed in a small pavilion

And then the rain stopped

It was still good

And the last shot of the day, as it started to rain once again. I love how the raindrops create the texture in the photo.
