21/03/2011Workshop @ Singapore Art Museum

About a month back, I conducted my first ever seminar on Wedding Photography co-organized by the Singapore Art Museum and Clubsnap Forum. It was certainly nerve wrecking to speak in front of more than 100 aspiring photographers. At first, I was rather anxious about the turn out as it was still raining 30mins before the start of the talk. I was really happy and felt appreciated that we maxed out the capacity of a hundred. So thank you all for coming.

For this session, we managed to find a real couple, Alicia and Philip to be our models for that evening and a good handful of photographers manage to get to try their hands on the equipments sponsored by Profoto Singapore. I also managed to have Alicia styled by my very good friend and extremely talented Jacqueline Law. Despite being a short 2-hour session, it started with a good introduction of how I achieved my photographs with the basics of lighting techniques and posing. The evening continued with the practical session which I’m sure everyone benefited from the experience. Below are some of the images taken during the workshop. I apologize that the group photo was only a small part of those who attended as it was a very late decision to take that photo.

Once again thank you to all those who attended my workshop, Singapore Art Museum and Clubsnap Forum & Moderators for organizing & helping out, Profoto Singapore for the equipments, Alicia & Philip for being the model, Jacqueline for the hair and make up styling, and my good friend Sherman for dropping by to offer me a helping hand.
