Dear beautiful people

First and foremost, Bryan & Jean will be out of office between 31 Oct 2011 to 10 Nov 2011. We will not be able to reply your email, pick up your call and meet anyone during this period.

While we are on the final leg of our overseas assignment for 2011, we have the following plans for Overseas Pre-Wedding for 2012. Do make your plans with us early to enjoy the best deals and avoid disappointment.

We have also sold out the first phase of our local pre-wedding and wedding day combo promotion. We will begin our second phase of our combo promotions starting 17 Nov 2011 with limited bookings. Do drop us an email to arrange for the earliest appointment to avoid disappointment.

03/01/2011Justin & Bernie – Bridal Portraits

We were just done with Justin and Bernie’s wedding day last night. Allow me to share with you their bridal portraits we did last Novemeber. We shot Bernie’s gorgeous gown entirely within Sheraton Towers. It was a big and grand wedding gown with beautiful ruffles from Silhouette and we have Melissa Yeo to thank for the editorial make up and hairstyling.

23/12/2010Andy & Lisa – Solemnization & Bridal Portraits

The first time I got to know Lisa’s group of fun loving and energetic girls was through Andy and Lisa’s solemnization. As I shot one of the girls, Aili’s solemnization and wedding day too, I’ve met them a total of four times this year; and will be seeing them for another time next year at Serene’s wedding.

Andy and Lisa met at one of the best club in town, Phuture, and believe it or not, orange juice was the poison. Honestly I didn’t believe it, but it’s true. Andy’s persistence and perhaps his fighter pilot charms got him Lisa’s mobile number. Let’s take away what’s in between and allow me to share my perspectives of their union. As this post is way overdue so I’m going to blog about their bridal portraits as well.

Lisa’s array of gowns were from The Wedding Present and the lovely styling by Jyue Huey from The Make Up Room.

Here are some of my favourites from their Bridal Portraits and their session’s slideshow can be viewed at the end of the post.

20/12/2010Daniel + Eliza (Bridal Portraits)

Just over the weekend, we finished the year’s final wedding day with a short solemnization. Jean and I decided to head across the road to Daniel and Eliza’s wedding held at the St Regis to give our blessings. For once, without my camera, I stood in the position of a guest while the couple and their families gave their toast on the stage. I felt very happy for their lovely wedding, their awesome walk-up apartment and the love they share.

I had a great time photographing Daniel and Eliza’s bridal portraits. Daniel is a hilarious guy, pretty nonsensical, but in a good way I must say. We got to use one of the gorgeous rooms in St. Regis Hotel for the shoot and believe it or not, we saw one of this year’s better sunset. Eliza was stunning in the gown by Bridal Veil. The elegant and understated styling is all thanks to my good friend Jacqueline Law. I especially adore the hair and make up for the cheong sam outfit, which we shot late at night in the back alley of their walk-up apartment.

Daniel and Eliza, both of you are truly amazing individuals with great personalities. I wish you both the best in your marriage.

04/10/2010Marvin + Lynn (Bridal Portraits)

It was a warm day with great blue skies and the sunset was awesome. Lynn’s gown from The Wedding Present matched with Jacqueline Law’s classy makeup and hair styling definitely helped in creating these wonderful images. We managed to capture both Marvin and Lynn’s personality in our photographs. Both of them worked really hard and at a point when poor Lynn got bitten quite a bit by ants. She endured the pain and itch to complete the shoot in botanic gardens. Well done guys!!!

This was the part where Lynn got bitten by ants.

The light and weather was brilliant that day.

An image I really love, which Marvin and Lynn both chose to print it large on canvas.

A master piece by Jean. It was her own direction and concept and we really love how it turns out. The textures in the photograph are the vines that hang down from the tree.

This is probably the most dangerous shot I’ve ever done. They were standing on 3m high ledge, the wind was strong with the waves crashing on the other side of the wall. To make it more adventurous, the Police Coast Guard came closer to find out what was going on.

I really like the lights around the trees and how this place can look so romantic and whimsical at night.
