30/10/2011Something everyone should know!

Dear beautiful people

First and foremost, Bryan & Jean will be out of office between 31 Oct 2011 to 10 Nov 2011. We will not be able to reply your email, pick up your call and meet anyone during this period.

While we are on the final leg of our overseas assignment for 2011, we have the following plans for Overseas Pre-Wedding for 2012. Do make your plans with us early to enjoy the best deals and avoid disappointment.

We have also sold out the first phase of our local pre-wedding and wedding day combo promotion. We will begin our second phase of our combo promotions starting 17 Nov 2011 with limited bookings. Do drop us an email to arrange for the earliest appointment to avoid disappointment.

25/04/2011Li Shan & Kwang How

A pair of avid scuba divers, Li Shan and Kwang How hit off with us almost instantaneously. During our subsequent meet ups, we discussed about various scuba diving sites and trips. With them, there seems to be more common topics than others as we coincidentally share a small circle of friends as well. Having good chemistry with my couples really helps me a lot in getting closer shots, good expressions and emotions.

Li Shan bore all the hard work with the plannings and details of the wedding preparations as Kwang How was in the midst of his final examination in medicine. What was more nerve wrecking, Kwang How’s results were released the day before their wedding. No doubt, he scored well and enjoyed the wedding day with his great friends from ACJC. Together with Samuel from Simplemotion, we agreed that this was the longest church ceremony we ever shot. But this was yet another wedding with great emotional speeches that blew everyone away. It was pretty much the same at their dinner held at the classical Four Seasons Hotel Singapore (I always order their lovely Nasi Goreng whenever I shoot a wedding).

Thank you Li Shan and Kwang How for a great time. And Qing Ren, get well soon!

20/04/2011Durga & Pawan

The day started at the Khalsa Dharmak Sabha, where Durga and Pawan held their traditional Sikh wedding ceremony with their families. I was intrigued by our cultural differences and absolutely enjoyed theirs. It was a simple ceremony, however the effort put into the details of the wedding was remarkable. In this post, I wish to share more than just the love they share, but also the intricate details of what goes on in a traditional Sikh wedding.

14/04/2011Patricia & Daniel

The day started on a cool side, it was raining. It was one of the simplest wedding I’ve shot. No snatch-the-bride games, no over-traditional customs and no hot sweltering weather. Daniel and Patricia held their wonderful wedding at the Church of St Mary of The Angels. It was a beautiful modern church, with plenty of natural light and more importantly, their lovely guests. Despite such simplicity, I’ve managed to push my boundaries of wedding day photography to focus on family love and also pick up an award placing for the Weather category in the 4th quarter of AGWPJA contest.

15/12/2010Jeremy & Agnetha – Wedding Day and Bridal Portraits

I got to know Jeremy and Agnetha earlier this year. They were part of Perry & Mery’s bridal entourage and here we are at their very own bridal shoot and wedding day.

A pilot from the same squadron where I served the national service as an aircraft technician, Jeremy and I hit it off instantly when they came to meet us at our gallery. I was further intrigued by Agnetha’s job selling really really cool furniture at Xtra. A love/hate furniture store, that sells gorgeous designer furniture that incinerates your bank account. You should have seen the look on my face when we did their portraits in the store.

Jeremy and Agnetha got married in the same church where they met each other. Earlier that same day, Jeremy and his boys, the Boars of Steel, came in their team jersey and knee high socks, only to be sent to the dressing room by Agnetha’s team of referees after some rough plays. Alas none protested, because it’s Agnetha’s dressing room! The party went on at Shangri-La Hotel. It  wasn’t just any magnificent party to brag about, it was a party filled with fun, joy and a lot of love. The video greetings that Jeremy’s brother put together was simply a class on its own.

As many would know, we started a promotion to Save the Sharks about two years ago. One gesture that truly touched me, despite the parents demand for sharks’ fin at the banquet, they decided to go against all odds to save the sharks. Jeremy’s brother, Joshua, once again deserves the applause for designing the poster.

Here are some of the preview images from their wedding party and also the slideshow of what happened in the morning.
