10/12/2010Jeffrey + Serene

Jeff and Serene held their wedding over the Singapore’s F1 Grand Prix weekend. And the boys being such loyal fans of the F1, unable to feel the live atmosphere, decided to bring the spirit of the F1 to the wedding instead. They arrived at Serene’s residence in their favourite teams. How can we forget about the checkered flag to mark the victory of  a podium finish over the bridesmaids. For two consecutive years, Jean and I missed out on the race held in our own country, however we are very glad to be part of wedding.

20/05/2010Marc + Dara

Here is another one from the end of 2009.

When Marc and Dara first came to me, and as Marc is a Frenchman,  I thought they’re going to bring to Paris for their wedding. Oh I was disappointed that it’s just going to be held in Singapore’s Dempsey Hill. Alright I was kidding. Both of them gave me really good tips on traveling to Paris prior to my shoot last August. Just like any other Frenchman, Marc is absolutely romantic.

When I visited Marc on the wedding day morning, I noticed an array of modern art pieces decorating his apartment. Those are his mum’s (a French artist) work. I couldn’t help but notice a very colorful tray, which I used to photograph their wedding bands.

For a celebratory occasion, it was very well the first time I had champagne early in the morning. What a good way to kick start the day.

While Dara was getting ready, House @ Dempsey started to fill up with guests and this crowd was great. Families and close friends expressively and emotionally decorated the wedding. Once again I must say that the food was GREAT!
